Steamed Mussels
We had such a lovely dinner this past Sunday at Napkins Bar and Grill in the heart of downtown Napa. From start to finish, everything was exceptional. We began with the steamed mussels and parmesan fries—both absolutely delicious. The mussels were fresh and flavorful, and the fries were perfectly crisp with just the right amount of savory parmesan. For our entrées, the halibut was beautifully prepared and tender, and the pappardelle pasta special was rich, comforting, and memorable. Every dish was thoughtfully executed and full of flavor. We paired dinner with a wonderful bottle of pinot noir from Frank Family Vineyards, which complemented the meal perfectly. Dessert was just as impressive and a sweet ending to an already fantastic evening. The service was truly spectacular—attentive, warm, and welcoming without ever feeling rushed. It was one of those dinners where everything comes together just right, and we can't wait to return.
Halibut
Absolutely my family's favorite. Always perfectly seared on a bed of vegetables in a cream sauce. You can't find it anywhere else.
Napkins Burger
Napkins' burger is everything a great burger should be: juicy, perfectly seasoned, and stacked with fresh ingredients. The bun holds it all together without stealing the spotlight, and every bite is rich and satisfying. Simple, bold, and done right — definitely worth coming back for.
Vegetable Wellington
Incredibly delicious meal for us vegetarians! It's nice not to have to settle for only side dishes; we get a real entree like everyone else :)
Seafood Plate
Not overcooked, somewhat lite on the seafood pieces. The spices where matching nicely and served hot.
Short Ribs
On my first visit to Napkins Bar & Grill, I had the short ribs dinner. What a treat! The flavors were out of this world and the meat was so juicy and tender! Someone else in my group had the same meal and she also felt the same way. If not for the need to explore different eateries (since this was our first time in Napa Valley) we would have came back the next day just to enjoy this meal again! Can't wait to return.
Linguine Shrimp
One of the best shrimp linguine I've ever had. The perfect balance of flavors and juicy shrimps that are cooked to perfection. The pasta was cooked perfectly as well and the sauce was very light and decadent. After a day full of wine tasting this dish and place will leave you feeling satisfied and wanting more. The drinks and dessert are amazing here as well! Highly recommend and will always stop by when I'm in the area!
Shrimp Linguine Pasta
This is my favorite dish! Everything here is amazing though!

Absolutely delicious! Rich flavor. I'm not usually a fan of capers , but everything in the dish paired perfect together!
Halibut
We went there for my mom and wife's birthday dinner We ordered halibut, rib eye, shrimp pasta and pappardelle steak pasta All of the dishes were amazing. We enjoyed a few cocktails and they were delicious. Great service, thank you
